Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, garlic powder, dried dill, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Brush the salmon fillets with the marinade, ensuring both sides are well-coated. Allow the salmon to marinate for 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- While the salmon is marinating, prepare the Lemon Dill Sauce by whisking together the sour cream, minced garlic, chopped fresh dill, Dijon mustard, 1-2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl. Set aside for serving.
- Place the salmon fillets on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove the salmon from the grill and immediately sprinkle with fresh dill.
- Serve the grilled salmon fillets with lemon wedges and the prepared Lemon Dill Sauce on the side.
Tips
- For a smokier flavor, consider using a cedar plank for grilling the salmon.
- The salmon can also be baked in an oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.
