Ingredients
- Salmon fillets
- 4 (6-ounce) pieces
- Olive oil
- 2 tablespoons
- Fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons
- Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon
- Dried dill
- 1 teaspoon
- Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh dill
- 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
- Lemon wedges
- 8 pieces
- For the Lemon Dill Sauce
- Fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon
- Fresh dill
- 1 tablespoon, finely chopped
- Olive oil
- 2 tablespoons
- Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon
- Black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, dried dill, salt, and black pepper. This will be your marinade.
- Brush the salmon fillets with the marinade, ensuring both sides are well-coated. Allow the salmon to marinate for 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- In the meantime, prepare the Lemon Dill Sauce by whisking together fresh lemon juice, finely chopped fresh dill, olive oil, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl. Set aside for serving.
- Place the salmon fillets on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove the salmon from the grill and immediately sprinkle with fresh dill.
- Serve the grilled salmon fillets with lemon wedges and the prepared Lemon Dill Sauce on the side.
Tips
- For a smokier flavor, consider using a cedar plank for grilling the salmon.
- The salmon can also be baked in an oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.
