
Shrimp Tacos
These delicious shrimp tacos are filled with seasoned grilled shrimp, fresh vegetables, and a tangy sauce.
Ingredients
- Hot sauce (to taste)
- Sour cream (1/4 cup)
- Cilantro (1/4 cup, chopped)
- Avocado (1, sliced)
- Tomato (1, diced)
- Cabbage (2 cups, shredded)
- Tortillas (8 small flour or corn tortillas)
- Black pepper (1/4 teaspoon)
- Salt (1/2 teaspoon)
- Garlic powder (1/2 teaspoon)
- Cumin (1 teaspoon)
- Chili powder (1 teaspoon)
- Lime juice (2 tablespoons)
- Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
- Shrimp (1 pound, peeled and deveined)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to make a marinade.
- Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, until cooked through and slightly charred.
- Warm the tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side.
- Assemble the tacos by placing some shredded cabbage on each tortilla, followed by the grilled shrimp.
- Top with diced tomatoes, sliced avocado, chopped cilantro, sour cream, and hot sauce.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
