
Tacos de Camarones
These delicious shrimp tacos are filled with seasoned grilled shrimp, fresh toppings, and a tangy sauce.
Ingredients
- Salsa (1/4 cup)
- Sour cream (1/4 cup)
- Cilantro (1/4 cup, chopped)
- Avocado (1, sliced)
- Cabbage (1 cup, shredded)
- Corn tortillas (8)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Cumin (1 teaspoon)
- Chili powder (1 teaspoon)
- Lime juice (2 tablespoons)
- Garlic (3 cloves, minced)
- Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
- Shrimp (1 pound, peeled and deveined)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat them in the marinade. Let them marinate for 10 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, until they are cooked through and slightly charred.
- Remove the shrimp from the grill and let them cool slightly.
- Warm the corn tortillas on the grill or in a dry skillet.
- To assemble the tacos, place a few shrimp on each tortilla.
- Top with shredded cabbage, sliced avocado, chopped cilantro, sour cream, and salsa.
- Serve the tacos immediately and enjoy!
