Sparkling Lemonade Refresher

Ingredients

Ice cubes

Fresh lemons

2, juiced

Sparkling water

4 cups

Simple syrup

4 tablespoons (adjust to taste)

Fresh mint leaves

a handful, for garnish

Instructions

1. In a tall glass, fill it with ice cubes to the brim to keep your drink chilled.
2. Pour 1 cup of sparkling water over the ice, leaving a little space at the top to avoid overflow.
3. Juice one lemon into the glass, stirring gently to combine. For a more tart flavor, feel free to adjust and add more lemon juice from the second lemon as desired.
4. Add 2 tablespoons of simple syrup for sweetness, stirring well to incorporate and taste. Adjust the sweetness to your liking.
5. Garnish with a slice of lemon on the rim of the glass and sprinkle a few fresh mint leaves on top for a refreshing aroma.
6. Serve immediately and savor the refreshing effervescence!
