Servings: 4

Ingredients

Sesame seeds
1 tablespoon, for garnish
Green onions
2, chopped, for garnish
Carrot
1, julienned
Bell pepper
1, sliced
Onion
1, sliced
Vegetable oil
2 tablespoons
Red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon
Ginger
1 tablespoon, grated
Garlic
3 cloves, minced
Sesame oil
1 tablespoon
Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
Chicken breast
1 lb, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes. Stir well to form the marinade.
  2. Add the sliced chicken to the marinade, ensuring the pieces are well coated. Let this sit for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse into the chicken.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over a medium-high heat.
  4. Add the marinated chicken to the skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the chicken pieces are browned and fully cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
  6. In the same skillet, add the sliced onion, bell pepper, and julienned carrot. Stir fry the vegetables for 3-4 minutes, until they are tender-crisp.
  7. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Stir fry everything together for an additional 2 minutes to combine the flavors.
  8. Garnish your Spicy Korean Chicken Stir Fry with chopped green onions and sesame seeds for added aroma and a pop of color.
  9. Serve your dish hot. It pairs perfectly with steamed rice or noodles for a complete, satisfying meal.
