Servings: 4
Ingredients
- Lettuce leaves (4)
- Tomato (1, sliced)
- Red onion (1, thinly sliced)
- Hamburger buns (4, toasted)
- Salt (1/2 teaspoon, or to taste)
- Black pepper (1/2 teaspoon, or to taste)
- Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
- Feta cheese (1/2 cup, crumbled)
- Spinach (1 cup, finely chopped)
- Ground beef (1 pound)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, finely chopped spinach, crumbled feta cheese, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until the ingredients are well incorporated.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and shape each into a patty, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Once hot, cook the patties for about 5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. (Tip: For a medium-rare burger, cook to an internal temperature of 145°F. For medium, cook to 160°F.)
- While the patties are cooking, toast the hamburger buns.
- To assemble the burgers, place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Top with a cooked patty, followed by tomato and onion slices. Cover with the top half of the bun.
- Serve your Greek-Style Spinach Feta Burgers immediately with a side of Greek salad or seasoned fries for a complete Mediterranean meal experience.
