Ingredients

Lettuce leaves
4
Tomato
1, sliced
Red onion
1, thinly sliced
Hamburger buns
4, toasted
Salt
1/2 teaspoon, or to taste
Black pepper
1/2 teaspoon, or to taste
Garlic
2 cloves, minced
Feta cheese
1/2 cup, crumbled
Spinach
1 cup, finely chopped
Ground beef
1 pound

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, finely chopped spinach, crumbled feta cheese, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until the ingredients are well incorporated.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and shape each into a patty, about 1/2 inch thick.
  3. Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Once hot, cook the patties for about 5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. (Tip: For a medium-rare burger, cook to an internal temperature of 145°F. For medium, cook to 160°F.)
  4. While the patties are cooking, toast the hamburger buns.
  5. To assemble the burgers, place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Top with a cooked patty, followed by tomato and onion slices. Cover with the top half of the bun.
  6. Serve your Greek-Style Spinach Feta Burgers immediately with a side of Greek salad or seasoned fries for a complete Mediterranean meal experience.
