
Teriyaki Shrimp Stir Fry
This delicious teriyaki shrimp stir fry is packed with flavor and perfect for a quick and easy weeknight meal.
Ingredients
- Cooked rice (4 cups, for serving)
- Sesame seeds (1 tablespoon)
- Green onions (4, sliced)
- Carrots (2, sliced)
- Broccoli florets (2 cups)
- Bell peppers (2, sliced)
- Vegetable oil (2 tablespoons)
- Ginger (1 tablespoon, grated)
- Garlic (3 cloves, minced)
- Honey (2 tablespoons)
- Soy sauce (2 tablespoons)
- Teriyaki sauce (1/4 cup)
- Shrimp (1 pound, peeled and deveined)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the sliced bell peppers, broccoli florets, and sliced carrots. Stir fry for 4-5 minutes, until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
- Return the shrimp to the skillet and pour the teriyaki sauce mixture over the shrimp and vegetables. Stir to coat everything evenly.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve the teriyaki shrimp stir fry over cooked rice.
