Tsuivan is a beloved traditional Mongolian dish that combines hearty noodles, tender beef, and a colorful medley of vegetables. Ingredients

Beef
1 pound, thinly sliced
Egg noodles
8 ounces
Vegetable oil
2 tablespoons
Soy sauce
3 tablespoons
Garlic
3 cloves, minced
Onion
1 medium, sliced
Carrots
2 medium, julienned
Potatoes
2 medium, peeled and diced
Bell peppers
1, sliced (any color)
Green onions
2 stalks, chopped
Salt
to taste
Pepper
to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced beef to the pan and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add the sliced onion, julienned carrots, diced potatoes, sliced bell pepper, and minced garlic. Cook until the vegetables are tender, approximately 8-10 minutes.
  4. Return the cooked beef to the pan and stir in the soy sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting as necessary.
  5. Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  6. Add the cooked noodles to the pan with the beef and vegetables. Toss well to combine and heat through for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy the hearty flavors of this traditional Mongolian dish!
