Avocado Salsa

This refreshing avocado salsa is made with ripe avocados, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, lime juice, and spices.

Ingredients

  • Cayenne pepper (1/4 teaspoon)
  • Cumin (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Salt (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Garlic (1 clove, minced)
  • Lime juice (2 tablespoons)
  • Fresh cilantro (1/4 cup, chopped)
  • Red onion (1/4 cup, finely chopped)
  • Tomatoes (2, diced)
  • Ripe avocados (2)

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh into a bowl.
  2. Add the diced tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, minced garlic, salt, cumin, and cayenne pepper to the bowl.
  3. Gently mix all the ingredients together until well combined.
  4. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  5. Serve the avocado salsa immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos, salads, or grilled meats.
