Ground turkey
1 pound
Feta cheese
1/2 cup, crumbled
Kalamata olives
1/3 cup, pitted and chopped
Fresh parsley
1/4 cup, finely chopped
Garlic
2 cloves, minced
Salt
1 teaspoon
Black pepper
1/2 teaspoon
Tomato

Lettuce
4 leaves, for serving
Hamburger buns
4, toasted
Olive oil
1 tablespoon (for grilling)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, crumbled feta cheese, chopped Kalamata olives, minced garlic, finely chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form each into a patty, about 3/4-inch thick.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat and lightly brush with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Cook the patties for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and are cooked through.
  5. Remove the patties from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  6. Serve the burgers on toasted hamburger buns topped with fresh lettuce and tomato slices.

Tips

  • 💡 For added flavor, consider marinating the turkey mixture for 30 minutes before forming patties.
  • 💡 You can substitute ground chicken for turkey if you prefer.
  • 💡 For a spicy kick, add some chopped red pepper flakes or sliced jalapeños to the mixture.
