Ingredients
- Black pepper
- 1 teaspoon
- Salt
- 1 teaspoon
- Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon
- Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup, shredded
- Bacon
- 4 strips, cooked and crumbled
- Cream cheese
- 8 ounces, at room temperature
- Jalapeno peppers
- 12, halved lengthwise and seeded
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Carefully slice the jalapeno peppers in half lengthwise. Using a spoon, remove the seeds and membranes.
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine the cream cheese, crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Fill each jalapeno half with the cream cheese mixture, ensuring each is generously stuffed.
- Arrange the filled jalapeno halves on the prepared baking sheet, cut side up.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the jalapenos are tender and the cheese is melted and slightly golden.
- Let the poppers cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy while hot!
