Keto Jalapeno Poppers

Experience a tasty explosion of flavors with these Keto Jalapeno Poppers! These bite-sized treats are packed with the creaminess of cheese, the crispiness of bacon, and the spicy kick of jalapeno peppers. Perfect as an appetizer or snack during game nights, parties, or whenever you crave something hot and cheesy. Originating from the Tex-Mex cuisine, these poppers are a keto-friendly twist on the traditional cheesy, deep-fried version.

Serves 24 poppers

Ingredients

Black pepper
1 teaspoon
Salt
1 teaspoon
Garlic powder
1 teaspoon
Cheddar cheese
1 cup, shredded
Bacon
4 strips, cooked and crumbled
Cream cheese
8 ounces, at room temperature
Jalapeno peppers
12, halved lengthwise and seeded

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Carefully slice the jalapeno peppers in half lengthwise. Using a spoon, remove the seeds and membranes.
  4. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the cream cheese, crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  5. Fill each jalapeno half with the cream cheese mixture, ensuring each is generously stuffed.
  6. Arrange the filled jalapeno halves on the prepared baking sheet, cut side up.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the jalapenos are tender and the cheese is melted and slightly golden.
  8. Let the poppers cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy while hot!
